Loved the dress!
Love the dress, love the cosplay, but it’s impossible to wash!! You’d think with how heavy it is, it’d be more sturdy. Delicate cycle, hand washed, dry cleaners, in a garment bag. No matter what I try, it pulls and gets nicks all over it. Not just in the tulle/chiffon part, but EVERYWHERE. In the stitching and satin gown under the tulle. It just has runs everywhere and looks like crap now. I will still wear it because the money I paid out won’t allow me to just leave it in a closet, but I definitely think it should have come with specific care instructions since it’s so delicate, or made with slightly better material….

It’s a really cute dress. The fabric material is really nice and not see-through. The dress can be heavy on the arms, and it can make the “top” of the sleeves fall (you can see me adjust it in the video). When I wore this to comic con, I used fabric tape to keep them up, and it worked wonderfully. The sleeves are also confusing at first to put on, but they’re not sewed on wrong as others suggested.The fabric is dyed beautifully, but it has A LOT more purple than padmes dress where hers had more yellow.I’m 5’7.5 and weight 153 Ibs, the large worked perfectly in terms of length
The arm bands and neck band look very cheap. The dress insert is crooked cause the outer layer was sown on in the wrong place. My accessory was also missing. Returning!

Okay, I have a LOT to say that I haven’t seen any other reviews mention yet.First, I bought this dress for a cosplay event with very short notice. I didn’t have time to make the modifications I wanted to, which I thought was going to be a much bigger issue than it actually was. This dress looks great right out of the box. It exceeded my (admittedly low) expectations. It’s absolutely wonderful for the price. The material is thick and heavy, and it doesn’t look cheap at all.That said:- the attached necklace is cheap. It looks bad and I definitely recommend removing and replacing it. A pretty easy fix if you know how to sew, even if only a little bit.- the fit is very strange. My chest is 35 inches and I bought a large after reading the reviews. I’m glad I did, as I would NOT fit in a medium. If you have a large chest, size up. The rest of it fits fine.- the seams on the sleeves are VERY heavy, and there’s nothing holding them in place, so they constantly slip down. The seam is meant to rest on the top of the arms but they’ll fall at the slightest movement. Some have said the upper arm bands are sewn on backwards, but they’re not. If you look at the model in the pictures, you’ll see that the strange way they’ve been sewn in is indeed intentional. I also plan on replacing the upper arm bands that come with the dress, but in the meantime, it looks fine. The upper arm bands do a decent job keeping the sleeves from sliding off my arm.There’s a bustle in the back of the dress that keeps the train attached to the back. The button on mine isn’t sewn on very well. This is also an easy fix— and I’m not even sure if mine is just defective. When the dress is bustled, it drags on the ground only slightly. I’m 5’4 and I think it wouldn’t be an issue if I was wearing heels.Finally, there’s a very specific way this dress is meant to be worn. It’s not completely screen accurate (which is fine), but I would strongly recommend looking at the model in the pictures for guidance. When putting it on, it’s not very straightforward, and it looks frumpy and uncomfortable if worn incorrectly.
